Scuba Diving Caño Island and Mangrove Tour

Explore the mangrove forest of Sierpe River while you are on the way to the gorgeous biological reserve Caño Island  located near by the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica, is 110 meters above sea level.  The volcanic rock formations provide the basis for the coral colonies, composed of five reef platforms that make it ideal for diving and snorkeling.

Terraba/ Sierpe is the biggest mangrove in Costa Rica where you can see crocodiles, birds, monkeys and a a lot flora and wildlife while you take a ride to the ocean by boat. Small mollusks, crustaceans and an endless number of incredible fish such as angelfish, clownfish, parrotfish, eels, schools, sharks, stingrays and turtles. On the surface the Island is composed of transparent waters and white sand beaches, some of which disappear during high tide. Occasionally you can swim with dolphins and turtles in this paradise.
