Our tours
Corcovado National Park (San Pedrillo Station) perfectly captures the essence of Costa Rica. Situated in the Osa Peninsula, Corcovado protects a remarkable variety of biological species, ranging from tiny insects to large mammals.
The Corcovado San Pedrillo Station Tour we offer starts from Sierpe, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away from Uvita. We also provide the tour with a transfer from Uvita to Sierpe at $145 per person, with a 6:30 am pick-up time.
The adventure begins at 8:00 am from Sierpe, with a 45-minute boat ride through the renowned Terraba/Sierpe mangrove – the largest in Costa Rica. This mangrove provides opportunities to spot crocodiles, birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Then, the boat follows the stunning Pacific coast for about 40 minutes until we reach the San Pedrillo station at Corcovado Natural Park. Along the way, there’s a good chance to encounter dolphins, sea turtles, and whales (July-October, December-March).
Upon arriving at the station, you’ll have the chance to explore two different trails; the walk lasts about 2 – 3 hours (depending on conditions and time). After the hike, we visit the San Pedrillo waterfall inside the park. The order of activities may vary based on weather and group preferences. Following the hike, the boat takes you to a nearby beach for a picnic lunch. Finally, it returns to Sierpe, with an estimated arrival time around 4:00 pm.
It’s important to note that the visit to Corcovado National Park’s San Pedrillo Station is regulated to maintain sustainable tourism levels and minimize the impact on the ecosystem. Reservations fill up quickly, so book with us now to secure your spot!
