Safety Comes First at Uvita 360
The beaches where our customers surf are carefully selected to provide a safe and fun surfing experience away from dangerous outcroppings or obstacles.
Our SUP surf instructors and kayak guides are trained and qualified to exhibit good judgment, strong organizational and language skills, and a reliable sense of responsibility.
Each of our instructors and guides are certified in First Aid and CPR and possess lifeguard skills. After attending mandatory training, they approach the beach with a sound basis in safety protocols and guidelines and are vigilant to the groups in their charge.
Our instructors are not allowed to smoke or drink while on the job and will not tolerate such behavior on the part of students.

Students will be provided with proper equipment to insure their safety, including a soft core surfboard with soft fins and a leash to prevent run-aways, as well as a rash vest to prevent rawness or rubbing. Life Jackets will be provided for the SUP and Kayak tours.
Instructors are outfitted with a comprehensive first aid kit, areas indicator markers, whistle and rescue board. A pop-up cabana is provided to give students a place to rest away from the rays of the sun when we run surf lessons. Water is provided.
Our adventure activities are coordinated with safe, reliable individuals and guides that understand and comply with our safety protocols.
Guides and instructores know where students are at all times and supervise all activities. First aid kits are available and leaders have emergency medical contact numbers and an evacuation plan.
